Visiting the beautiful House of Sandeman – Port Wine Cellar
This week we’ve been delighted to visit the cellar of the House of Sandeman, one of the oldest and most famous Port Wine house. The cellar were charming and it was interesting to discover the characteristic of the Port Wine and the production process. As well, the tasting was… delicious.
Bordaloii in Vila Nova de Gaia
We found this week end a really great artwork from the street Artist and installation artist Bordalo II. Bordalo was born in Lisbon, 1987 and belong to a generation that is extremely consumerist, materialist and greedy. With the production of things at its highest, the production of “waste” and unused objects is also at its highest. “Waste” is quoted because of its abstract definition: “one man’s trash is another man’s treasure”. Bordalo create, recreate, assemble and develop ideas with end-of-life material and try to relate it to sustainability, ecological and social awareness.
